Minor A Change to Stealing Rule Starting Monday June 21 In Minor A Play: a) Stealing is now allowed to 2nd base and 3rd base. b) A player can advance to home only on a hit ball in play (ie, player cannot advance to home if a player is stealing third and the catcher makes an overthrow).This will give catcher's a chance to throw to third base without penalty. Minor AA Mercy Rule: 1st, 2nd, 3rd inning - 3 runs 4th inning - 4 runs 5th inning - 5 runs Last inning - Open Curfew for Playoffs:
The curfews remain the same for the playoffs (no new inning after 2 hours, drop-dead 2:15) Exception: River Oaks Park (No new inning after 1:45, drop-dead 2:05).
